Today I went to the Veloway with my mom. We rode 23 miles! At one point a squirrel ran out in front of me and I almost ran over it! Don't worry, it didn't get harmed! Then we saw a snake, roadrunner, and bunnies.
The Veloway is a 3 mile loop, and you might be wondering how I could have done 23 miles. We stopped for a break, and I took my helmet off. When we were done we got up and got on our bikes. Then a little bit after we started riding, my mom realized I didn't have my helmet on. So, we had to do the short loop. I didn't want to count the extra 2 miles but my mom did. Saturdays are my days for big rides, so I will post tomorrow.
