Day #6

This was a long, fun trip,
We worked hard,
And we rode long distances,
But I admit,
I was ready to be done,
It was all worth it,
It was really really fun,
We made it to our cabin,
The joy of seeing it,
Of riding up and greeting it,
No crashes,
No flats,
Sore legs,
But it was worth it

Day #5

Only 11 miles away,
Our goal awaits,
My cabin is sitting,
In the hot sun it bakes,
Our last day for the tandem,
So we put that away,
But we are going to ride it,
In the July 4th parade,
We woke up early,
To ride 33 miles,
To make the next day easier,
So it is worth while,
Tomorrow we will finish,
Our ride has been and is fun,
We won't stop now,
This week has been (almost) done!

Day #4

We started too late,
So we rode for a while,
In the hot sun,
Getting tired fast,
But we kept on trucking,
Solo and tandem,
Our legs are sore,
But only two more days,
We are going to finish,
At the beginning of the day

Day #3

We rode for a while,
The longest we have ridden,
44 miles,
I need a hot tub to sit in,
Our water bottles full,
And our spirits high,
My aunt came along in the car,
To go for the ride,
5 hours it took,
And when I'm on the tandem,
I'm looking at my dad's back,
While pedaling hard,
Uphills and downhills,
The faster the better

Day # 2

A long ride,
But not as long as yesterday,
Hard,
But fun,
A reward,
And welcoming,
A nice hotel,
And very roomy,
No cars,
For miles,
Can't wait to ride again

Day #1

Today was the first day,
Hot, Hilly, Fast feet,
5 hours, On the asphalt,
Going fast and slow,
On our own bikes,
Then switching to the tandem,
Riding 43 miles,
Accomplishing something!

One more day!!! :)

Only one more day until the big ride starts! I can't wait, but I admit I am a bit nervous.
