Today was a very interesting day! My friend and her mom also came with my mom and I. The first lap around the Veloway, I took a big spill! I was going up the very steep hill and I got a lot of momentum. I turned to late and I was afraid I was going to run into the ditch that is right next to the hill. I pulled my brakes really hard and I flipped off sideways. I landed on the ground and my bike fell on top of me. My hands were skinned and so was my elbow. I had to keep going! I only made it to 27 miles today. My mom took my bike to the bike shop because the brake was rubbing on my tire. She turned out getting a whole new wheel because the wheel was bent! Although today's bike ride was tough I am determined to ride all the way to my cabin!
